Ok guys... the more threads I read the more confused I get. I currently have a DFI Lan Party Pro which has been a great board while my P4P800 Deluxe has been repaired. I have received my P4P800D back yesterday and am ready to swap it with my Lan Party Pro...

I know this is really a personal choice... but hey, that is what we are here for is to ask and get suggestions. My Lan Party Pro is running my 2.8c @ 3.5. Will I get any more with my P4P800... don't really know. I know I should be able to push my memory a little further with higher voltage. So comments???

Thanks,
Sweeper

Don't know sweeper. I hate to say it but I would have to say swap it and see which one performs better for you and stick with that one. . . .

Hawk...

Thanks for your comments. I really feel, for some reason, that I can push the P4P800D a little further than I am able to currently push my Lan Party Pro. I really don't have anything to complain about since I am running my 2.8c @ 3.55 solid. But as it goes... we always want better and faster.

You could always swap the boards and compare your results. I'm sure your findings might help some people make a decision in a future purchase. . . . .

Good point... Anyway, I know I won't be happy until I swap.

I guess I have some work cut out for me this afternoon...:)

Ahhh.. it's not that tough... I've assembled systems in ~1 hour not including installing any software, and since you'll probably be transfering the hard drive(s), that should be no problem.

No... this won't be a problem. I can almost do this with my eyes closed.

It really shouldn't take too long as I will image my HD before the switch. It is just I neatly tie-wrapped all my cables and have everything looking so nice and neat...;)

Cheers,

I would still pick a Canterwood over a Springdale. However, I'm into workstation chipsets over desktop chipsets. :p

Hey Pointreyes...

Glad to see you over at this forum...

Yeah, I do follow some of your post and know that you are into the workstation and higher end stuff. I guess I would beat my up not knowing if I can push the P4P800 as far as the DFI.

I should know something before too long...

Take care,
Sweeper ;)
