Hey Gang, I got one comming from newegg and I'm going to do a review between the stock intel cooler, Volcano7+( Current HSF ) and the 7000-AlCu.
The set up will be a 2.4B cpu, Asus P4B533, Antek 1035B case, ASII ect..ect...
I'll mainly be looking at Noise level vs Cooling Efficiency
So stay tuned!

I went from a 100% speed Intel HSF to 70% 7000AlCu.

Temps are exactly the same at idle, and low loads, noise is WAY down...

Once the fan spins up at 55*, it stops it from going over 58*, whereas the Intel HSF would let it get to the mid 60's.

I'm VERY happy with it, and even at full speed, the 7000 is darn quiet.

I must be one lucky SOB, I bought the Alpha PAL 8942 not long after their initial release and I am running a 46CFM Panaflo on it. My temps with a 2.8C never go above 45C even when OCing and running the processor for extended periods at 100% with CPUBurn...I used the Swiftech for a long time with the older Pentium, but I have been one happy camper with the 478 pin chips and this cooler.
