On the specification sheet, which can be read here (http://www.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?m=A8N-SLI%20Deluxe&langs=01) , you can see that one of the features is 'Fixed PCIe/PCI/SATA frequencies'. This is the first proof I have that I won't be buying another A8V rev 1.02.... If the feature is listed on the web site, then the finished product MUST contain it. Otherwise RMA.

This information makes me very happy!

Just noticed another feature. The board requires a 24 pin ATX power supply! I'm glad that's what I bought then!

Just to let you know, Asus doesn't care what they put up. Once they decide to change anything, all traces of what you have proof of will disappear. They're awful for RMA'ing something because what they promised on the board isn't there or doesnt work. I know this first hand, had enough arguing with supervisiors and **** in their RMA and sales department about this too. If you insist on buying Asus, wait for it to come out first to make sure what you want is actually there and working. Myself personally, with the experience I've had with Asus related to my A8V Deluxe. I'll never purchase or use another one of their products in any system I ever build ever again.
