Can't wait for Abit IC7 Max3, so decided to order an Epox 4PCA3+ with up to 3.3v vdimm options - enough to push my memory to their max for my comparison review :)
idea of pricing down under Aussie dollars
IC7 = $245
IC7-G = $350
P4C800 = $335
P4C800E = $375-395
P4P800 = $209-240
4PCA3+ = $269-339

Hmmm.. I cannot, repeat cannot find any EPoX 865 or 875 boards here... Sounds like they overclock very nicely though.
GL! :wave:
Yes, pretty good board from what I have read on xsystems. . .

The only downside is the 1.6 vcore limit. :(
Enjoy it m8! :)

Enjoy it m8! :) yeah the 1.6v vcore limit is like my Albatron PX865PE PRO2 1.6v vcore undervolt to 1.52v and still manage 270-275FSB , and Epox is steady on 1.58-1.6v underload according to users who measured with multimeter so hopefully i get 270-280mhz :D

GL! :wave: unfortunately there's a few revisions of this board 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 ? and 2.0 which is making it's debut for USA markets with williamete support
hopefully i get a 1.2 and above rev - crosses fingers
I'll cross mine for you to Eva2000. . . . . :wave:

you'll need the 1.7vcore trick in the bios, to get as high fsb as the ic7

Considering that I live and work in the valley that the old P4/new cellys cores carry the name of, I find it important to note that the proper spelling does not contain the word 'William' in it. The proper spelling is Willamette.

Tech guy replies, "Only Spring Dale can do your Willy. Sometimes Mr Canter Wood tries but he has a hard time with willy." :p
If the tech guy is from the nation that Epox resides in they might try to reply like they do in their manuals:
"All willies belongs to us." :D

well back of track now :)
4PCA3+ arrived just moments ago.. about to open up the package :D
appears to be a rev 1.1 version so the beta bios with more vcore is able to work i guess http://www.aoaforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18421 :)

Hehe... International Date Line...
Well, set it up and tell us how it is! :D
Pity about the low Vcore on the Epox. Does the 'pin trick' still
work on the 800fsb Northies?

If you read above, there's a link that shows a beta BIOS that allows more vcore...:)

the beta bios is unstable, just use the latest official bios.
and change the vcore to 1.45v and it'll overvolt to 1.7v

Eva2000, let me know if 1.450=1.70 for you. It does not work on my rev. 1.1.
In Windows, Sandra, MBM5, and the Epox hardware monitoring utility says 1.53-1.55 when I set 1.60 in the BIOS (I ignore the HW monitor in the BIOS). I know Bigtoe and others have checked with a multimeter and say the actual VCORE is what you set but I'm not sure.
I just feel I cannot get more than 1.53-1.55 VCORE in this 1.1 board. My 2.40C maxes out at 277 on this board but does 287 in the P4C800-E (supposedly at 1.62 volts on that board). I am seeing 100-200 more unbuffered Sandra marks at same DDR, though.
