Hawk,

I have had the prometeia for a while and it is alot of fun. The vapochill did not appeal to me because it runs off the psu and you plug the prometeia into the wall. And i do hear that the prometeia gets colder then the vapochill.

always wanted to try one, but won't buy one... from some people who owned one, it's a pain in the backside if you intend to swap motherboards and cpu all the time

known 2 people using Vapo who killed their 3.0C cpus heh

Hmmm, I don't know. . . I used to play around with Peltier's in the old days, so. . . I'm going to have to sit on this one. I do change boards and CPU's very often. . .

well i have to agree to change a board or a cpu in a prometeia is a little time consuming. and you have to use new seal string everytime you remove the chiller head from the socket. I bet it takes about 15min longer than installing a swifty.

prometia looks easier to install/remove than Vapochill though

Hawk, go prommy instead... As the vapochill uses your 12v line on your psu and the prommy uses it own power cord... :D And the prommy is better then the vapo... D:

Neil, Plet's are awsome in my book, but there are so many variables to deal with. (Condensation, Cold, Hot, Power, etc. )

I used to do the use a peltier, but have moved to the Vapochill side. . . . I just got it up and running today so expect some impressive results in the next few days. . . .

Good luck with that. I am looking into modding with refrigeration at the mo. It is not easy I will tell you that but not impossible. I would like to get into it but dont wanna go and buy the kit, thats easy. Its not a money thing, just something I gotta try, lol. Will keep you posted.
