Well I received my Mushkin PC3500 memory 2X256 today. Here some of the testing I've done. This is with a IC7 mobo and a 2.6c cpu. 280 fsb, ratio 5:4, 800 strap, timings 2.5 3-3-6, 3645mhz, Sandra 2918/2915, 3DM1 17314 @ default on a 9700 Pro. 3:20 ratio, 285fsb, 3707mhz, timings 2:5,4,4,8 not able to run Sandra or 3DM1. This memory doesn't do much better then the 2X256 Mushkin & Corsair PC3200 I was running before! I''ll play with this Mushkin PC3500 this weekend and if it doesn't do better I'll call Mushkin. Best so far @ 1:1 ratio is 225. I put my PC3200 sticks in with this PC3500 for 1gig of memory. I have it running now @ 270fsb, timings 2:5,3,3,5, 800 strap, ratio 5:4, Sandra 3066/3009, 3DM1 18604, oc on the 9700 Pro is 371/351.

Heres the difference in running 2 sticks of memory as compared to 4. Sandra 4 sticks 3078/3074, now with 2 sticks 2753/2765 same memory, same fsb 273, ratio 5:4. in both test. As you can see bigger band width with 4 sticks/faster.

Ok I've tweaked my IC7 and 2X256 sticks of Mushkin PC3500 Cas 222 to where I'm happy. Heres where I'm @, 273 fsb, ratio 5:4, 800 strap, timings 2.5 2-2-5, 3567MHZ, cpu 2.6c, stable. Now I can get a higher oc with looser timings, but I like these tight timings. Sandra score is 3066/3009, 3DM1 score 17556, @ default, on a 9700 Pro. This is a nice oc 3567mhz and great memory band width. The best of both worlds in my lights!
