well just check from samsung.com, they said there is some cover on the glass screen,so i think the damage part is the plastic part, glass part won`t be east damage by a cat anyway, thank you

I guess I did not formulate my question properly. I was asking if it was on the plastic casing at the bottom or top or on the actual glass/sceen area itself . No matter I will assume it is the glass area.

Modern monitor are covered with an antiglaring film coating ( hence the comment from samsumg). Your cat or dog in no way can scrtach the screen glass of a monitor, in fact neither can u except with a very sharp object and serious pressure. The tube is frankly near impossible to damage.

However the thin antiglaring film is what often get's scratch. Generally speaking the best you can do is to try to hide the scratch hoping that in doing so you will not make it worst, or the final result will not result in showing a diffenrent shade off color on that spot, for example with the white color.

Here is possible solutions you can try:

1: Go to a place where they sell Eye Glasses, some of them have a product to remove scratches from eye glasses. It consist of what looks like a pencil and a buffer clotch. Gently apply the compound on the scratched area and buff it. It may solve (hide) the scratch. Here is an example:
http://www.cproducts.com/cgi-bin/SoftCart.exe/scstore/p-SD-MISBG-12.html?E+scstore+yahoo_shopping

2: Some people have had success with liquid car wax of a special kind, the product must be "Atoglym" compound. I repeat liquid NOT wax. Threat a small area of a scratch to try before doing all the scratches. Works for some does not for others.

3: You could try to find after market antiglaring sheet, which can be apply to a monitor, those are hard to find and need carefull application and a very clean monitor before applying. The draw back here is that it is a pain to install and the entire monitor must be covered.

I hope this helps and let us know how u made out, if you elected any of these solutions.
