1 day later and they are shipping out my IC7 :)

two day air... unfortunately that means it'll be here on monday!!

argh...

oh well...

now let's see on monday if it's the board or the chip (most likely the board)

and i get to test out my sweet geil gold dragon pc3700 dual channel... WOO HOO!

Only one point:) .I assume it was the board since it seems they are sending a new one.Did you tell them you wanted the new mobo with the new northbridge fan or to throw one in atleast..LOL.:D

they get another point today because i forgot to turn on my pump and i started my computer...

temp protection kicked in... :)

good stuff... saved me twice yesterday now... 1. i forgot to turn on pump ... 2. fan on radiator got knocked loose...

Ignorance sometimes does not make for a good joke. :rolleyes: The AMD machine would have an alarm go off and then if you don't respond, the board will shut down the computer. BTW: I have had only one processor in my lifetime ever overheat and die on me, it was a P4 2.53. No alarm on the motherboard inform of that btw.
