I found this over at [H]ard|ocp, talking about PCI latency and how you can change it through PowerStrip.

tried it RH..set my video down to 80 .. i was able to OC my radeon 9800 higher. at 3.4ghz, i got 21K+ without tearing :)...im gonna try for 22K.

actually jojo, thats upto 80 clocks.

the higher the clock ~ the longer the time a device can "hog" the pci bus. too much "hogging" and youll get pauses and crashes tho.

Interesting, I may have to buy PowerStrip, as the freeware version cannot change the latency settings - doh!

did you uncheck the "READ ONLY" before applying your new values for the latencies?

use to use trial powerstrip but now use rage3d 3.8c any such feature you know of guys in rage3d ?
