Im sure most if not all of you have heard of this gem. Its possibly one of the best mods ive ever played for any game, and its still in alpha. Id suggest anyone who owns BF1942 to get this mod ASAP. http://www.desertcombat.com/

Ya know, I downloaded it with the intention of playing it, but that was like 4 or 5 months ago, lol... for some reason I haven't gotten around to installing it.

Finally got around to installing it... very nice... although there are some sound issues that aren't an issue in the regular BF1942. Love the M16 and A1 Abrams =) Too bad no new maps were included with the mod... can't believe the 326MB download didn't even include ONE map.

What do you mean? There are some new maps. Lost village for one. There are a couple more I belive.

I love taking the shotgun and mortar, fly the apache until out of rockets, then ditch it and set up the mortar :D

AL Khafdji Docks and Lostvillage are the coolest maps ever for teamplay :)

Anyone know any good places to download additional DC maps ?
