In about fifteen years of car simulator gaming, I have seldomly lost the ones that counted, and have spent way over average time playing with them, always pro mode, always with fun. (obviously when I was not racing real cars)
Well... I have waited fifteen years, but now they almost got it.
GTR by Simbin (the same from the good old Sports cars GT :rock: -and many other titles) has almost got it right.
I have been trying and testing their new demo release (at www.gamershell.com) and I found that the car dynamics are miles ahead of all titles -Rbr, together with MoTec analysis, super-realistic track programming and true life car setups.
GTR also comes with a very vast range of settings, disposed in a user friendly way, but able to suit any player out there.
Another very astonishing feature is the Track IR native support (www.naturalpoint.com), a tracking device that permits you to use your head to look around your cokpit and look at the bend's apex just like in the real thing, and trust me, I do know something about that!!! :thumbs: :fire:
This is an Alpha demo, and I did find some minor bugs:
-the audio when de-clutching to move from a stand-still is all wrong on the two demo cars here available;
-not so sure of car behaviour on gravel;
-graphics are more than decent, but the colors don't seem to blend in duch a realistic as one could expect after Rbr...
This is an awesome game, and if I can be of any help to anyone (only concerning the demo & features for the moment) I would be proud to bring this thread on. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
To you, drivers"!" :coocoo:
