I read that article, but I can never understand LCD response times and such... falling and rising??

In simple terms response time is, the time it takes a pixel to illuminate (Rise) and go out (Fall).

For example it takes 14ms to go from black to white and then another 14ms to go from white back to black then your total time is 28ms

Rise + Fall = Total Response Time ie… 14ms + 14ms = 28ms

Hope that helps :)

Excellent review, I just wish he had looked at a few more of the front runners like the Samsung 172T, the Viewsonic 171B, and the Cornea 17" (forgot model #).

Thanks eva2000...I give any review site credit for reviewing monitors. I mean, how the heck do you do it? I've thought about reviewing my new 191T but how? A lot of "quality" comes down to the video card, knowing your drivers and how to tweak the settings, and of course personal taste and viewing abilities...here's to ya XBit Labs!
