For those who are new to building your own system, I thought I would mention that there is a relatively decent guide in the November 2004 edition of MaximumPC. Unfortunatley the article is not on thier site - so you'll have to pick up the mag to get it. If it does appear I will post a link.

This guide is not perfect as it does not provide an extensive list of hints. However it is a better thana general guide. If you are considering building your first system then I would suggest you pick up a copy.
