Just got today. I did not think much of it, just because I knew it was their cheaper line of ram. But I put it in and just let windows boot, remembering I had my GOld in at 245fsb and settings of 2.5-3-3-6. I about wet my pants when it actually started to boot, went through it all and then loaded windows! It crashed at the desktop, but at that point I did not much care...

I have been working on it all afternoon and right now, as it stands, I am at 245fsb, 1:1 with timings of 2.5-4-3-6, and the Game Accel set to TURBO. I really think it will do more... something is holding me back, and I will find out what that is sometime during the week. I plan to have a new motherboard, and maybe another CPU to play with, so things might get exciting around here.

All I can say is that I am getting more and more impressed with OCZ every day.

Yes I did try that Thugs. It was a no go. I went through every option that I could think of with the Game Accel settings as well. Nothing would work. I am not giving up yet...

By the way... I just fixed my post as well. I am able to use the Turbo setting on the GA with these settings so far.

Yes, the power is in that GA. But, alot of ram is not able to run them from what I hear. I have been able to run the GA on all but a pair of 3500EL sticks from OCZ. Gold, anoter pair of 3500EL and this Premier all run fine.

All I can say is that I am getting more and more impressed with OCZ every day. oczguy's posted internal doc showed that OCZ development guy Mark Meir said that OCZ PC3700 premier line could have users posting up to 266mhz if they're lucky hehe

try setting vAGP at 1.65v and vdimm at 2.8v and setting GA to auto and see how far you go :)

my OCZ Premier PC3500 which are different chips from PC3700 premier could only do 225mhz

btw, how much did the pc3700 premier cost compared to ocz pc3700 gold ?
