Look at this, overclocked to 2.5GHz perfectly stable on air and outperforms some of the best CPUs around! Im still shocked...

Wait mid summer next year ...I taking bets that they will turn 64 bit support back on ! Specially now with Intel's new approach to the market.
Interesting times ahead.

that sure does look interesting at the moment i am deciding between the A64 2800 or the sempron 3100+ but with no 64bit windows available on the market i would be inclined to go for the sempron and install it onto the DFi LP NF3UT 250Gb that i intend to buy coupled with watercooling. If it can do 2.5 on air then it may sure as hell do more with watercooling

I am picking up one of the Sempron 3100+'s for the computer I am building my brother for Christmas. Already got the Chaintech VNF3-250 set aside, just need to pick up the cpu when I get some help funds from the family. Looks to be a great budget gaming chip.

I'm still wondering if it's worth getting rid of my A7N8X and Mobile XP2500 and getting a Sempron setup. My RAM isn't highly overclockable, so I'm not sure how well I'll be able to overclock the 3100+

There's not much performance hit running a divider on the ram. You'll be able to push the 3100+ to its limit.
