I will be doing an upgrade to Vbulletin tonight and the site might be down for a couple of hours.

this is a major upgrade. I will post when the upgrade is finished.

ok, forum upgrade is completed but I still have a lot of work to do.

This upgrade did not go very well :beat::beat:

Hmmmmm.
The little dot icons to the left of the 'area', that would light up if a new topic was there, has been replaced (sometimes) with a balloon talk icon?
:(

Cant tell where the new posts are now by just looking at the dot.

actually, I have had it with Vbulletin! I should not have to fix everything every time I do an update. :smash::smash:

if you may have noticed, I have disabled the Blogs as only spammers are posting to it. and the security settings SUCK for the blogs.

I am looking at other forum software packages right now.

Nope, no way to go back without wiping the databases clean and starting from scratch. They also will no longer support the old version (reason I did the upgrade in the first place).

BUT, the site will be going back to it's roots when it started in 2003.

Now, does anybody have any graphics skills and can design a New logo? :hide:
