Although I was not able to find another source to confirm this ( if anyone does please post a link). It appears according to TheInquirer that NF4..has a problem reaching 1Ghz hypertransport.....does this mean a delay in shipping the new bread of 939 board? :| :(
Arghhhh...I'll never get my new system if this keeps up. :beat: :beat: :beat:
OK time to kick DFI and boot their butt to release the DFI UT Ultra 939 (hoping it will perform like the 754) :hide:

The nForce 4 Mobos start shipping in the next 3 weeks. The ASUS website has nForce 4-SLI 3DMark bench numbers posted and a note that the SLI (dual graphics cards) version will be available before Christmas. The "Ultra", single PCIe slot Mobo is expected to be the first nForce 4 released by most of the Mobo companies in a few more weeks.

Certainly nice that nVidia has officially announced the chipset, hence released it. However, let's see what comes out to the market and when ~ from paper lauch to product launch there is a big step. SLI version b4 Xmas, that frankly I doubt mucho. As for the Nforce 4 ultra, many marketing hype and press announcement from the board vendors some claiming mid november time frame, and hopefully with revision b of the chipset not the a10.
Others, although unofficial such as DFI ...claim NO 939 release in 2004, early 2005..dissapointing from DFI if that turns out to be true, but there could be a valid reason for it.
Let's not forget that this is base on Hyper Transport 2.0 not Hyper Transport 1.0 standard, hence a 2GHZ+ bus.
Let's see what happens.....
