Hey all.

I have jusr finished cutting my L3's to hardwire a 15 multi on a DLT3C and it went right to 2.1Ghz with almost no effort.

The voltage was set manual at 1.6v on first boot, but I left it there as I see no problem with it.

Anyhow, this eeks out my old board for a while longer!

Chip facts:

JIUHB 0308 XPMW DLT3C

I'll post my final top speed in a few days.

40c Idle, 45c load. :D

And thats at 1.65 volts. My KG7 is overvolting like a mofo...

I love to see people squeeze extra performance out of older hardware :)

NIce job DivideByZero....What was the base speed on that chip???

What does the board overvolt???

for you intel folks...

oh wait, i'm one now...

1700+ default speed is 1.47 ghz so 2.1 isn't too bad...

i'm sure you can squeeze 2.2 to 2.3 out of that baby...

after reading so many posts, i'm tempted to do the L12 mod on my chip....

people are reporting getting upwards to 230-250 mhz fsb after doing the mod...

it's funny because 333 chips get higher fsb's after making them default as 266 chips.. and 266 chips go HIGHER after you make them default as 333 chips.... how messed up is that?

Shim's got u the facts on teh base speed, but my mobo is feeding another 0.05v over whatever I dial in. no biggie, just got to keep an eye on it.

Shim, I reckon this chip is good for 2.3+, but I have issues with PCI and AGP speeds at around 145FSB upwards. I suspect my soundcard, but I'm getting married in a week so no time for serious tweaking.

If no joy the next step is to get back onto cutting the bridges again to get a 16 or 17 multiplier.
