I have an asus P4P800 with 2 western digital raptor hard drives.. I connected them to the sata connectors and created a raid 0 in bios. When i try to install winxp, I use a floppy and load the drivers.. but xp setup cant see the new raid 0 setup so i have nothing to install too. In bios i have just have it set to enchaced mode, Sata, boot sata - yes.

Please any Help would be great, im dying to get this working

**BIOS** -->after setting IDE configuration (which is under MAIN) , go to BOOT and make sure the raid appears under "Hard Disk Drives "..then save and exit bios..

**also did you press F6 and loaded the RAID driver (using floppy) during installation? p4p800 doesnt come with a floppy which contains the Intel SATA RAID driver.. i had to use the one that came with my IC7.

There is a makedisk utility on the CD that came with the mobe, or if not, the drivers are there to copy to the floppy

assuming you have 1009 BIOS installed you need this (http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df/Detail_Desc.asp?agr=Y&ProductID=961&DwnldID=6364) and press F6 while booting from the os cd
