Just ordered dual pack of OCZ PC3700 memory. Now maybe I can find the limit of my 2.6c cpu on either the P4P800D or the IC7 mobos :D
That's great news skully. . . .
I can't wait to hear how good the chip is that you have. . . . :)

My order of OCZ 3700 @ Hardcorecooling didn't go through. They lied said it was in stock, when it wasn't. Canceled the order and ordered with Directron. Hope this order goes through!

I tried to buy OCZ PC3700 memory! But everywhere I've tried, they were out. I went with Kingston PC4000 ddr500 memory ordered direct from them!

Yea from what I read, Kingston on their site. They say they worked with Abit on this memory using the IC7 and IC7-G mobo. I have an Abit IC7 so it will be interesting to see how it oc's. This is a preorder to 7/25. :)
Aparantly it uses Hynix D43 chips..same as what Corsair are using for their pc4000 also.It timed at 4-4-4-8 ddr533 aparantly but will do better timings lower down.
also it is listed as a 5ns part(pc3200)

I am on my second try with OCZ3700Gold. RMA's the first batch.
Paid extra to get the dual channel 2x256 kit this time. They will not do 233mhz at anywhere near 2.3.3.7 1:1. No way above that at 1:1 with either pair.
My friend has an IC7 and is not that happy with 1:1 results either.
I can get 262 at 5:4 OK but the OCZGold I have had bombs on the 1:1 settings.

Oh dam skully u r not going to like wut u see from those HyperX pc4000. I already tried them and already returned them. But it is a fact that i use a 3.0c cpu, so your findings might differ if u r using a 2.4 or a 2.6. However, you will still not like the outcome. Every person that has ordered and tried those so far from what i have read in all the forums are VERY VERY VERY disappointed.
As for me i just ordered another set of the OCZ gold pc3700 to make it a full 1 gig set. However, i will be replacing them all for the pc4000 just as soon as they are thru their final phase of testing. I am hoping maybe the extra 512 will get me more stable at 250Mhz/DDR500 @ 1:1 with GAT@F1. But i will post results as soon as i have them in and test.
Btw skully, monarch computers have them in stock w/free shipping and cheaper then newegg tax free.

Fed Ex kicks ass. I bought 2 sticks of Mushkin PC3500 Cas 222. So that I could run 4 sticks of 256 on an IC7 rig. I still have an Asus P4P800D with no memory. If I don't sell it, I'll have to get some OCZ sticks for it! :)
