Anyone every tried one of these?
http://www.evercool.com.tw/products/pcac.htm
I was thinking about putting it in the top 5 1/4 " bay instead of a blow hole. Its only 15 bucks, and would save a lot of time removing everything from the case, drilling out the blow hole, then reassembling. Doesn't look bad either. Not sure if 100 cfm is enough for a blow hole and I wonder how loud it is. Any ideas?

Sounds like a good idea. :thumb:

If it’s as quiet as they say and can push 100 cfm, it would be worth a shot.
And for 15 bucks you dont have to mod your case. :chit:

If its quiet and moves 100CFM then it sounds like it will be great (and less hassle than cutting a blow-hole).
Since I have not tried this I cannot say if it will work better than a blow-hole. I would think it would if it is mounted in the top 5.25" bay.
If you decide to pick one up please post how it works out.

It looks like you could just mount it backwards in the bay.

I sure hope it works well for you. I have been trying to decide whether to get one myself. I dont like the idea of having the front door not close though. Are you planning on mounting it like they show in the add? I was thinking about mounting it upside down if I got one so the air would go up instead of down toward my intake area on the front of the case.

I am going to reverse my airflow. Blow outside air in through my Blackice Micro2 rad and swifty rad and out through the top bay and bottom Intake (wil be out take) I had tried before using outside air and my cpu temps were lower but case temps higher
