Humph.. these new drivers no longer give any performance boosts. I'm still with the Cat 3.2s and the R9800 driver hack... They perform the best for me and there are no problems, so I'm gonn refrain from updating them.:stop:

Just got em and they HOSED my Star Wars: Galaxies framerates. None of my other games seem to be affected. Still reverting back to 3.4's. :(

I think I'll stick with my 3.4's for a while (or was it 3.2's :p ). Don't even remember what I'm running... it's that painless! ;)

I installed 3.6. Very nice so far. However i haven't tested performance though.

i tried again and reinstalled DX9 and it worked TY much:)

installed them... had MAJOR studdering in rallisport challenge, motocross maddness2... any racing game... never had these probs before... any game using the quake engine ( q3, wolfie, sof2 ) would freeze up ( sometimes requiring a reboot ) on exiting to desktop... so i went back to 3.4s...

but then i remembered the omegas!!! installed them and all is well! still a little freeze going to desktop, but only like 2 secs. no studdering rallisportor other racing games... 3dmark scores ( both versions ) are down a little, but thats cuz the omegas are built for comfort, not speed ;)...

all other versions of cats have worked great, no probs at all. i guess you cant win em all...
