i'm starting to oc on my kt400 board which does not have a pci lock and has a xp2600 chip that has a locked multiplier. so that means upping the fsb which moves the pci bus with it.
my question is, does a higher pci frequency hurt or damage data or the hdd physically? i've heard of data being damaged, as i've corrupted my os twice before but now i got a sata driver connected through a pci card that can run at 33/66mhz would that protect my sata os drive? and would my storage pata driver still be in danger from a higher pci bus?
