I have had a problem with my S939 system, and its beginning to puzzle me.

I started off with a AV8 and FX-53, along with 2x256 PC3700EB. With that setup, I could not get the HTT 1:1 over ~220. Alot of other AV8 owners saw that, so I thought it was a mobo issue.

Now...I purchased a MSI K8N Neo2. The FX-53 is still in, and the 3700EB is still in. I still cannot get stable above around 220HTT 1:1, even with 2.85v. If I drop to a 2T command rate, it runs fine up to 250HTT 1:1.

Why will my memory not run a stable 1T command rate? Is the board/chip not compatible? I have seen quite a few other guys use the 3700EB with no problems, so why does mine act up? I'm thinking of selling the 3700EB and getting some PC4000 Ballistix.

BTW: I'm running 3-3-3-8 timings, at 2.85v.

I have the same kind of problem it seems tried almost everything, but >220 is a no go: http://www.bleedinedge.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4591

Do you have SATA HDDs on port 3&4 only and AGP at 67?

Can anyone confirm that when OC'ing on an MSI K8N NEO2 with SATA drives on all 4 of the SATA controllers causes corruption on two of the drives when OC'ing past 220 on the HT bus?
