While playing with my 2600+ mobile, i have been noticing a reoccuring event. I'll sometimes push it to well over 2 v, trying to get 2.8 stable, its always a no go though :|
It seems that afterwards my temps are higher than before. For instance:
1.775- 39 C idle
1.775-43-44 C full load
After putting 2 v to processor:
1.75- 45 C idle
1.75- 50- 51 C full load
Today ( a week after putting 2 v to processor)
1.75 - 50 C idle
1.75- not going to attemp full load.
All temps are from MBM.
Anyone have any ideas on this? Could it be the temp probe going bad?
I have noticed this each time I have tried 2v or more. I usually reapply AS Ceramique after attempting this, but I wanted to see if it was the TC or the probe. Cause sometimes, thanks to winblows or MBM I'll get screwy temps after boot-up, I just restart the puter and all is to normal. Maybe Ceramique is not a good choice for high voltages. Think I should order AS 5 and test that as well?
