Cold Cathode Placement

Hey Guys,

I got myself a CM Haf 922 over the Black Friday sales and I love the front 200mm red LED fan but I want a brighter case so I was considering getting a couple red cold cathodes to stick in this beast. My question is, where is the best place to put them?

I've never used cold cathodes before so I'm not sure which area gives the best radiating glow, and because they have to be almost perma-mounted, I'd rather not put them in a bad area.

I have a similar (same?) case here. I would put a cathode just above the smaller top window that is on the side (out of direct sight but would throw light on the board).

Replacing the side fan with an LED version would also add to the glow.

Perhaps some smaller 4" cathodes near the fron panels to give more of a glow out the front.

I'd love to put a nice 200mm red LED fan on the side but NCIX and Canadumb Computers don't sell them.

360mm?? Holy crap! I just wanted a 200, but they don't have any :cry:

All though it doesn't seem like they have any right now, but you might want to try this one. They are supposed to be in stock as of yesterday.
