Hello people, Well my raid set up was gone bad. Why I have no idea left home for awhile come home and now they will not boot. I am using IAA control with a couple of WD HD's on a p4c800 E MB. WHen I go into the bios boot menu it does not see them so I went into the intel set up it says dectected a repairable error. Has anyone run across this before does repair mean reformat?
Nope, if the data is not there, do the reapir and see if it comes back.

Well on the intel set up it is asking if the drives belong to the existing array. It says the drives or ok but they are not bootable any more. That might be because they are part of the array right now? Not sure way this happened. I am going to go look at intel web site and see if I can get some info and the controller. Talk to you later.

Good luck. I have in the past seen OCing causeing the drives to no longer be a part of a RAID set, and by running the utility and adding them back, viola, OS boots back up. I hope yours works the same.

should be a simple driver issue. i had this problem once also on same board. hawk hit the nail on the head...constantly oc'ing to far and having to reboot screwed up the raid drivers, window simply could not detect them. reinstalled raid drivers via boot floppy and presto...good as new. :thumb:...no worries mate, as i'm sure this is yur problem as well.
