Need Best Motherboard for OCz EB 3500 + A64 CG 3400+

Hello.

My name is Gary, and i am new in this forum.

I would like to have good advices for a new motherboard :chit:

Situation is this: i've already ordered RAM and CPU.

AMD Athlon 64 Newcastle CG 3400+ (1MB L2 Cache, 2.2Ghz, 1600FSB HT)

OCZ DDR PC-3500 Platinum Enhanced Bandwidth 1GB Dual Channel (2x512MB)
(CL 2.5-3-2-8)


From what i have seen, VIA K8T800 chipsets reaches maximum of 800Mhz FSB Bandwith HyperTransport...while nForce3 150/250 reaches 1200Mhz to 1600Mhz FSB.

1600Mhz would be great because it will max the cpu capability since the cpu also works at that FSB speed (1600Mhz)

This pc is for audio production purposes :cool: ..and currently not for overclocking...currently i just want it to run superb at stock speeds.
That is why, i need best performance with solid rock stablity. CG stepping should be pretty good now as for stability but i need to be sure about the motherboard...for best performance + compatiblity.

Please advice me good motherboards to purchase. I need it to have SATA ports, 1600Mhz FSB Capable and best compatiblity with OCZ EB RAM.
If there's more than one who will suit, please post it :) so i could pick according to prices too.

if its not for an oc i would recomend a abit kv8-pro max3(http://www.abit.com.tw/page/uk/motherboard/motherboard_detail.php?pMODEL_NAME=KV8-MAX3&fMTYPE=Socket%20754 ), if u want to oc i would recomend an asus k8n-e deluxe (ugly mb but its one of the best to oc with,http://uk.asus.com/products/mb/socket754/k8n-e_d/overview.htm)

abit kv8 rev1.1 is a great mobo and clocks really well.

ive had this at HTT of 268 with the HTT multi on 5x

effective giving a hypertransport speed of 1340MHz.

Likes OCZPC4000 gold so im sure it will like the EB too.

Definately the new DFI UT 250 GB its backordered everywhere My shipment should come in on the 23rd i ordered from gameve.com......not at the egg anytime soon.......from what i understand its worth waiting a week or so for
