Just wondering how you guys like your 6800 GT's? I'm running an eVGA 6800 GT with a modded ultra bios @ 425/1.20 idle temp @ 45C. :)

what about my question

I don't own an eVGA card, yet; but I can say with a very confident degree of certainty that if you flash any card or motherboard's BIOS with any type of modded BIOS not sanctioned by the company and they find out about it your warranty will be voided. :yikes:

Most companies will also void your warranty for overclocking their product out side of their original specs as well if they are able to prove you did so. Probably the only exception is with the companies like BFG that sell their 6800 GT OC and 6800 Ultra OC cards overclocked from the factory; but again if you push it beyond those specs and they can prove it you run a risk of having your warranty voided.

The price we all pay for being computer enthusiasts

ok, i will just OC it then. I never go all out on OC's anyway. my 9700Pro has been running 340/320 for almost 2 years now.
