hi i would just like to know the best RAM for the AMD S939 fx-53, plz post ur thoughts

i'd reccommend some pc4000 honestly. if you plan on OC'ing, the best way is to crank the FSB up on that baby (the multilpiers on A64's only unlock down).
but that almost works to your advantage. what i would reccommend, is drop the multiplier down a couple notches, then crank the FSB up. that should give you a slight performance increase, while keeping the overall speed the same.
as far as brands go, OCZ is well liked among forum members here. but im partial to corsair since im currently using it.
word on the street is, the new ballistix line from crucial is awesome. i would give them a look. they have a line of pc4200 that should do you fine.

if you dont plan on overclocking, pc3200 will be perfect. the new corsair line of low latency modules is perfect for someone who has the budget for an fx-53.
