Suggestion: Front Page News

Hi,

I appreciate the work that is going on to bring the site up to date, and provide some of the requests for information. Well done! :thumbs:

However, I would like to make a request that for the News items, the ability to select a TITLE only option in the Control Panel or something, instead of the expanded news items recently added. I don't want to collapse it and not see anything, I just want a quick look to see the title and if I have any interest in drilling down further and not have to scroll down off the first page to see recent posts. Otherwise for my own use I'll probably end up just going directly to the forums and that would be a waste I think. Thanks for considering.

I am working on that. The news module has some quirks that I cannot get around. and it will keep changing till I get it right.

when I shrink it down, there is no header on the area and you cannot preview it. when I expand it, I lose the ability to shrink individual news items.

Great, I knew you were doing alot of changes and certainly didn't expect it as fast as it seems to have been changed. I guess you had already figured that out, so I can validate your work :p
