I think Sierra is making us all look like we are a bunch of NOOBS! :rotflmao:
Just a little bit longer and I'll have to break out the soldering iron and perform some Magic. :coocoo:
Hey Sierra, How high can you go HTT wise with the vapo? I'm still trying to figure out if my problem is in the memory controller or the board. I might have to call ASI and get a revision 2 board if Xgman has any success with his. :smash:

Hi there and thanks. Here's the link.
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=2964802
It was actually done with the WHQL 4.8 driver, not the beta that I mentioned in a previous post. So when Futuremark finally approves the 4.8, I'll be able to publish this score on the ORB.
Hi Pointhore. HTT is 250-251 @ 1:1. I usually run 250X12 (3000MHz). It's stable at that speed 24/7. With a divider, I can run around 280, but the chipset doesn't seem to like really high HTT. Phase change doesn't really help in the RAM department. I know some people can get their EB up to 260. If I could do 260X12 (3120MHz), I'd be very, very happy. But as you know, VDimm on the A8V sucks.
And thanks, flexkill. No, I'm not even close to a record. I actually prefer running 3DMark01 because I can really take advantage of my CPU speed (3GHz) in that bench.

I'm running an FX-53, A8v, Memory? (corsair XMS3500, Ocz 4200EL, geil Pc4000, etc.) whatever I feel like playing with in my collection for the day.
I was really hoping this setup would run at a much higher HTT. Right now I'm limited to 255 no matter what ram I try. All-in-all it runs pretty sweet. :chit:
I still have my Intel systems, they just sit there waiting for someone to play with them. Only kidding, They get plenty of use.
By the way Magnum Pc is that your company?? Good deals.. And when did this all happen??
Yeah, Magnum Pc (http://www.magnum-pc.com) is mine and Hunter82's. You gave me the idea when I sold you your 3.0C. :yup: ;)

Whatever you are running, it seems to be working, and working well. :thumb:
Now you need some 4200el that will run 275HTT/1T using 2.8v and you'll be set. Maybe you can talk to the guys at OCZ and ask them to get you some magic chips.

Thanks, Pointhore. I'm waiting to hear what Bigtoe has to say about the PC4000 Rev.2 and PC3700 Rev.3 sticks. He says they can run at 280 in single channel, but I want to know what they can do in dual channel at 2.8v. I think my RAM is okay. Just need more voltage.

Edit - Ooppss - didn't notice the memory was only at 1000! Darn - could do 1140 - but only with a dual PSU- and I'm not putting THAT back together again! Still, good enough for 10th with any drivers! I'm sure that won't last for long!

3500+ @ 2.72 ATI 9800Pro (490/790)
PS: just a suggestion. I am not sure if the person that created the topic can continue to edit the first post but.....I am on another forum and the first post is constantly edited w/ the scores and a ranking along w/ cpu and gpu info. ex Harleybro 7,607 3500+ @ 2.72 ATI 9800Pro (490/790) It makes it neat and quick to search for people with comparible rigs.

A pair of 6600GT's with just a mild clock as these won't oc worth a damn. 16K+ isn't that bad for cheap videocards actually. I should be able to squeeze out 18-19K with some cooling and voltmods i think.
