In addition to getting that dead A64 2800+...I got an NF7-S v2.0 that was dead from a bios flash to v1.0

I was able to hot flash the NF7-S v2 chip on my IC7-G using Flashmenu and via WinPE....

Think Ill go grab some lottery tickets in the AM! :thumbs:

How did you fix the pins or is this another dead one that made its way to you :scratch: . Curious to know how to fix pins (should I ever break one myself - tocch wood :bonk: ).

I got the broken A64 2800+ with the 2 broken pins (think the broken pins are A3 and C1..) from this 16yr old kid...

I had a PC job to do for a lady...sold her an HP, brand new from Best Buy with a Duron 1.6 in it...
It originally came with a Athlon XP2800+ :chit:

I had told her what specs to get for a Dell PC...but she couldnt find one, with an LCD for under 1800...I sold her the HP and LCD (newegg, $360) for $1000 :D

The duron was the min specs I advised her to get a while ago..so its perfect for her AOL abuse :yikes:
