Do you need the regular four pin drive connector or the square four pin?

What about a Y connector with 2 male ends?

the male end is the end that has the metal pins sticking out with the pastic surrounding it. all y- connectors i have ever seen have one male and 2 female. a y-connector with 2 female ends will work. i just thought maybe there was a molex connector like in the attached picture:

More food for the fodder...
If you cannot find a one-piece to work another way is to make a short connector by buying the bits to put it together (8 male pins, 2 male molex connectors and 4 short pieces of wire). It's not ideal but you canmake the wires as short as possible and it will get you where you want to be (at least until you can find a one-piece unit).
One other approach using less pieces, involves converting one of the male molex connectors to female (1 female molex and 4 female pins). Cut the male molex off, add the female pins and insert into female molex connector. Connect and you're set to go.
I only wish I had a store around here like the ones posted. Man it would be sweet to have access to this kind of stuff. I would probably be rewiring everything to custom length and connectors. :D

I looked all around at work but no joy. We've got short male to female extensions, y-cables, gender changers for vga, serial, parallel.
No molex gender changer. Good luck in your hunt.
