I have a radeon 9600 pro as the thread name suggeest, I also have it volt modded. I have the core at a rock solid 523MHz compared to the 398MHz stock core. I have a Dynatron 1U heatsink on it. And some OCZ Copper BGA Ramsinks on the ram.
I find it running pretty hot most of the time. Should I opt-in for one of those huge sandwich coolers? Do you think it will allow me to OC anymore?
I'm not worrying about the ram, chips are from samsung, made to run at 300 no further.. I have the at a happy 331. The ram is also hot alot of the times.

Thanks for your replies.

Well currently, I have a Dynatron C51. It is a small 1U cooler rated to be able to cool a AMD Athlon XP 2400+.
The problem is, with my volt mod and my such high clocks for my pro card. The Dynatron hsf is getting pretty hot.
I would optin for a larger cooler, the problem is my motherboard only has 3 pci slots, and one is already being blocked by this Dynatron cooler.

Ive seen those used on some 9700 pros in the past. I used what I had for my mod (stock XP2200+ cooler). It worked real well on my 9800PRO.

I have taken some pictures and uploaded them of my 9600 pro. I've take pictures of the card, and it's volt modd. I've only done the volt mod on the VPU, because no one can get extra mhz out of the ram by volt-modding. Atleast on 9600's anyways.
