Harddrive no showing up?

Im currently on a 700mHz Duron and it has a 20gig HD...Its running out of space so i decided to install this spare 10gig that i had for more space. Well I have the 20gig as the master and the 10gig as the slave and the BIOS is all set correctly...so when WinXP started up saw the new harddrive, installed it and said it was ready to use...but it doesnt show up in My Computer. Its in the Device Manager, but not My Computer...anyone know what could be wrong? thx...

If the drive is not formatted, it will not appear on My Computer. If you are using a Windows NT based OS, you might even have to use the Disk Management utility to tell the OS to let the drive be seen as whatever letter you desire to give it.
