We have been thinking about having a game night here at BE and we would like to hear some feedback from the members on what games they would like to play.

The idea is that Maybe a few times a month we get together fragging for fun and to get to know all of our BE friends better. A BE crew member can host the games and if we need another server if we get alot of players the another crew member can fire up another server. We could have a poll before the game nights to determine what game or games we will play. It would be nice to end the poll a few days before game so the people who do not have the game can go out and find a copy. The poll can be new and old games and even the latest demos that are out.

This could be alot of fun if we do it right. We just need some input from the members on what games they want in the poll, what type of voice communication we can use, and any other input to make this this go as smooth as possible.

As far as communication goes I find that teamspeak works very well :thumb:

Hey Sam that is a good idea and sounds like fun. I vote for UT2004 or BF1942. :thumb:

i would be in on that for sure
the games i mainly play are battlefeild 1942 and vietnam, desert combat, forgotten hope, soldner demo(occasionally), americas army (still a n00b), quake 3 arena and the unreal tournament 2004 demo

teamspeak RC2 is good compared to the earlier version that sounded like you had cotton wool stuffed in your ears

email me at linda.ross@xtraNOSPAM.co.nz (take out the no spam ) with date , time, server ip and password (if there is one), and the teamspeak server ip address and password

Love Mech Warrior and War Craft III but unfortuantely I am DSL-challenged. One day I wil upgrade my rotary dial phone  . I will look into a better line but the last I heard Ma Bell ain't supporting us country folk (though they sure do love my $).

Ground Control 2 is fun.. I only have the MP demo though. And any half life mod, like Day of Defeat and Counter Strike

i have a stunt mod for battlefeild 1942 that has a different twist to the one that is already available. the jeeps and planes are kitted out with NOS and you don't die and the shermans and panzers have recoil that is so intense it flips the tank over. but if you aren't interested in playing with this insane mod then another suggetion i have is quake3 arena, soldner demo or tribes2

Unfortunately, or for me probably it's fortunate, the only online game I've ever played is UT2003 :hide: but I think "Far Cry" would be a real blast online

Fac cry was actually pretty vanilla multiplayer..

The big open maps are just sniper town. The more closed in areas suffer from the weapon balance.

It sure looks good tho, but it brings nothing to the table..

I have rediscovered the joys of Doom2 online via the wonder that is Jdoom!
