Via Pt800!! Omg

Well, take a look. I usually don't link stuff from the [H] but this is the only VIA PT800 review/preview I've seen to date.

Well, as you'd expect, it gets a spanking in the theoretical memory bandwidth tests, but then beats/equals the i875P in just about all the other tests/apps.

Pretty impressive considering the ASUS P4C800 they compared it against also has PAT among DC DDR to its advantage... :yummy:

Who knows though, maybe it's another [H] scam.;)

we dont think |H| is a scam.

we think they are not thorough enough and then try to cover their arses afterwords.

i cant begin to tell you how many moboards theyve reviewed, said were good, then we bought them and found a ton of bugs :smash:

what kind of reviewer doesnt find the bugs?
or worse ~ finds them and doesnt report them?

thats why forums like this exist :-) (real, unpaidfor reviews ~ with typos!)

Do you guys get your boards sent from the companies (like ASUS/ABIT/GigaByte.. etc) or do you actually go out and buy the boards?

Especially after the onboard sound issue, I have started trusting sites a lot less.. Just seems like not one large public hardware site can put up a review that doesn't somehow make someone mad or disappointed these days.
