just took out my 2 port KVM Switch and making way on my testing bench for running 2 boards at a time and testing 2 pairs of memory on 2 boards at a time - much quicker testing :D

i have like five P4 systems so the memory does have a home

currently have a 2.4B C1 on P4G8X running 4 x 512mb xms3200c2 for video encoding and mysql database stuff

and it's the best time to test and buy as ram prices have been the 2nd lowest in history in Australia - can't loose much from resale if i hold on to the memory hehe

and it helps that XtremeDDR memory won't cost me a penny since they're only for evaluation along with the P4C800 bios modded for >2.95v vdimm :D

had 1 pc, it crashed and stuff and since my paid job is working on the internet, i decided to get a new pc and use the other as backup..

then the worse came when i have 3 pcs and all 3 pcs decided to crap out on (P3 866, P3 667 and a P3 Celeron 400A)

now i'm fully protected from downtime LOL...

well the vendor rang me and said he'll bring the stuff over today instead (tomorrow for those in different timezones) as their General Manager is a bit uncomfortable sending $3000+ worth of gear via courier to someone he hasn't met before LOL - understandable of course :)
