NOTE: KingTermite.Net (http://www.kingtermite.net) is NOT a competing website!!!
KingTermite.Net is now in alpha viewing release mode. There is (to my knowlege) only one bug. The SSI is not working on the download pages (that are not in the root directory). My webhoster doesn't know why either...they are looking into the problem.
The feel I'm going for is a code geek's website, so it is somewhat personal, but at the same time, I want it to be somewhat professional too (in case I do work it into a legitimate business one day).
Please come, visit, enjoy and give me your opinions.

I am no entomologist, but that bug you squish on the opening Flash looks more like a ****roach (yuck) than a termite. Other than that, the site is looking good. http://www.bleedinedge.com/forum/images/icons/icon14.gif

It was a ****roach...it was only meant to show the squashing of a bug. Since I'm putting it off as "I am the Termite", then I'm not trying to squish a termite.
It's all good.....I've finally removed that front flash now...I'm moved it into the FUN section where somebody can "choose" to see it, but not be forced to hit it everytime they hit the main page.
KT, I like the look of the site. . . . Keep up the good work. . . . . ;)

OK, that makes sense--although squishing a termite might be more fun. ;)

Nice. I was thinking about playing around with bbs software on my local network but I'm way to busy with coding. Currently working with vb6 and java in conjunction with Oracle.

I wasn't originally planning to mess with the boards for a while...thought it would be a lot of work.
But the ones they have set up at my web hoster (phpbb) are almost a no-brainer setup. You just click the button in the control panel and it creates the boards for you. You just go in and spend an hour or two setting up user options, subject areas, etc... and voila! you have them. ;)
Only because they turned out to be so easy did I set them up.
