Ok, let you guys know..
for 3Dmark scores, you must have a valid link to the score on Furturemark. Hwbot will no longer accept screenshots.

I can provide links to my 3D Mark 06 "Project Manager" however I cannot edit the 06 entries that I have made. Please advise.
Thanks

yours are fine. it will only show in our stats the highest score submittted by you and it already shows one in there for you.
but it stores all your scores at Hwbot and awards any Hwboints both to you and the team. :thumb:

HUH?
free DL version you can submit scores. Hwbot just needs the link to your score.
I checked, Hwbot only does a full verification check on the top 100 scores. some of mine fall in that area and it needs the link or it will not give me the credit.

after about 18 submissions I gained the team 1.6 points and a hardware award for my DFI LP NF4 Expert. The point being that if I can do this , the rest of the forum members can do much better! so get out there and bot! :thumb:

ok, People have been asking me how to post the scores and here I will give an example:
I will use my 3Dmark06 score for it:
nutcase - 13064 - Intel Core2 Duo E6700 @ 4472 Mhz, single 8800GTX @ 660/1040 , Ocz PC2-6400 Cas4 Flex XLC @ 4-3-3-10
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=1431426
it is in this format:
nickname - score - system info
to get the link for 3Dmark or Pcmark scores, you will notice it will give you a Compare URL when on Futuremark after submitting your score. Just right click on it and highlight 'copy shortcut'. you can then Paste the link to the message here on the website.
for SuperPi, SuperPi 32M and Aquamark scores, you just need to include a screenshot or a link to the screenshot.
and that's it!

Nice work. and you have been a busy body
Remember people, you do not have to have the top scores for Hwbot to award points. it awards points also based on like equipment and awards points for submitting good scores with like equipment.
give an example, if you have a 3Dmark score that is in the top ten for let's say a 9700 Pro, it will give you points also.

Sounds like fun. I've been wondering who "hwbot" is, :bonk: Registered today but going to wait for the o/c ram to mature on the tree.

You can't use a "hacked" version of the "pro" FM benches, that will not work if you try to submit scores online (at least that what I've heard, not that I've tried it myself you understand :chit: ). Just download the "free" version from FM and you are good to go.

So that brings up a question for you pro's. Is it best to bench w/ 1 stick and avoid dual channel? Can that help some controllers? Are duals mainly needed for high IO rates? Does BE have a guide for do's n don'ts such as limiting processes, defrag prior, etc... These seem obvious but what else could help? Thanks guys

Not sure if I qualify as a "pro", but eliminating unused processes is always a good thing, and defragging before any bench run is almost a must IMO. I posted some SuperPi tweaks in post #70 of this thread http://www.bleedinedge.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29074&page=5
A lot of that will apply to any benchmark; keep in mind that every system is different and it will take a lot of trial and error to find what works best for you.

Thanks BO. Good tips to work with.
Now does fresh install mean xp 32 sp1, sp2, sp2 w/ updates, server 03 std r2. :coocoo:

LOL..... well that's a good question. I usually run XP 32bit with SP2 and no updates, I have server 2k3 setup to dual boot on the same drive and I really don't see much difference with either. Other people may have thier own preference, it's very hard to say "this is best", it all boils down to trial and error in the end. ;) For most purposes, use your OS of choice, the way you have it tweaked will be the most important part.
BTW: I prefer SuperPi benching over the 3D stuff, so most of my suggestions will be geared toward that bench. Spi will tell you how the system is working, a good pi benching system will usually do good in the 3D benches, they are more geared toward how much you want to spend on gpus.

BTW - When i said "pro's" i meant the collective you guys out there that have more than a couple years, couple rigs that sucessfully benched well. Boshuter, you definitely qualify!
The fresh install, disabled services/scrnsvr and 1 stick got me to 4075 w/ cheap ram.
32M 15min is 90 sec faster than expected. Thanks again.

Noob here cant figure out best way to resize screenies. Tried google, Powertoy resizer but still over 1mb file size. Using "paint" shift-print for shots. What's the scoop on this? I have a 12.5 s 1M superpi mod and 15 min 32M. :coocoo:
Thanks

I just use http://imageshack.us/, save the file as a .jpg, then browse to it from the menu on that site. Select "resize image?" and then choose 800 x 600 then click "host it!" wait for the image to upload then copy the very last URL on the screen that comes up and click on the "insert image" button when posting your score and paste that URL in the script prompt that appears click ok and post your reply! :thumb:
