Do you have a case worth bragging about?
Does it have a window?
How about a custom paint job?
I'm curious to hear about it.

No windows on my box but I did order a side panel with a fan direct from Antec. That's about as drastic as I get with case mods...

I don't like Disco Mods either. I put some wild lights in my other PC and look who showed up.

But I have replaced all of the fans with blue ones and turned off the front red/orange LEDs. I'll also be repainting that front red/orange piece to silver. Not pics yet. :(

Have a Chenbro X-pider with a window. Added lighted fans and led light. Trying out the EL wire outlining my window. Looking Good so far but just using scotch tape to hold in place for now. Planning to use a glue gun to hold it in place from the hidden side. Has anybody tried this and how successfull was it?

I have some of this but haven't added it to the case. I was thinking of using a glue gun as well. I have used a glue gun to glue some fan wires to a bracket I made for the ram. The wires are holding so far.
I think the hard part is to get the right amount on and speed before the glue hardens and to keep the wire straight.
Love to hear and see how it goes.

Thanks for the quick reply Snafu. I was planning to keep the tape on and then use the glue on one spot then choose another spot at the opposite end and then remove the tape after it cools. At least that is the plan. I am wondering when you glued your wires, was the glue cool enough not to melt the plastic insulation? I think it should be but your confirmation would be nice.

Used the glue gun today and it worked well. Used the lower temperature glue and put on the side of the el wire you would not see from the outside. The biggest problem I had was washing off the scotch tape residue from the window. That will teach me to use cheap tape.

i cannot for the life of me understand how some of you can stand having your case on your desk (insted of on the floor)

The floor is the nasty place where dust and dirt hang around just waiting to be sucked into your computer where higher up the air is so much cleaner. Also I use my computer to help repair other computers so I am constantly swapping drives or attaching devices to it. I also have spent some time making my case look pretty and I want to show it off.
