Sonic Record Now Runtime Problem

Recently I've been having a problem running Sonic RecordNow

When I run the program an alert box comes up just before the usual CD burning utility runs that says:

An error occured while trying to initialize RecordNow! Please re-start your computer if the problem persists please re-install RecordNow!


I have rebooted and tried re-installing via the WindowsXP Add or Remove Programs control Panel thing

Has anybody had the same problem?
And if you dont know of any ways to help can you point me towards a free CD Burning Program That I could download?

Well...have you tried emailing the makers for support? If you cant seem to get help that way or no other way on any other forum, just spend the 20 dollars and get Nero. In my opinion its the best burning software out there. As far as free programs, I really cant help you there, all I can say is to go ahead and search your heart out on Google.
