OK, so originally I had 2 x 256mb sticks of 3500 EL DDR with the BH5 chips that were comfortable all the way up to 225mhz at Cas 2 2,2,5 in my NF7 and 231mhz at Cas 2 2,2,6 at 1:1 ratio. These sticks were very happy in my Asus P4P800 doing Cas 2 2,2,5 at Turbo and with Mam enabled at 5:4 at 275mhz with my little 2.4C pushing out 3.3ghz at default Vcore on air......

So pleased with this ram was I that I bought another 2 x 256 mb of 3500 EL DDR thinking that this would be as good. It wasn't, long story short, I have been very unhappy with the new sticks, they have dragged down system performance, and in fact can only run my rig with Mam disabled and system performance on Auto (slowest setting) at Cas 2.5 3,3,8 instead of the rated Cas 2 3,3,7 :|

OCZ technical have been brilliant with their help, and the upshot of it all is that they will take back all four sticks of my ram, the original Bh5 and the newer CH5 and replace it with 2 sticks of the EL DDR 4400. This will allow me to run at 270-275mhz at 1:1.

My question is this will I be better off keeping my BH5 (512mb) and running at Cas 2 2,2,5 with 5:4 ratio and 275mhz fsb?
Or Cas 2.5 3,3,8 (1024mb) with 5:4 ratio and 275mhz fsb?
Or Cas 3 4,4,8 (1024mb) with 1:1 ratio and 275mhz fsb?

What are your thoughts?????

there are quite a few options

its kinda sad that most new products wont run with Bh-5 based sticks

you might also take a look at some eb stuff , if you like the recent results people have been getting
