Just got 1GB of this awesome new ram installed. It solved every issue I was having using Corsair PC3700 with my set up.

2.4C @ 3.2
P4P800-DLX @ 267 fsb 5:4
1GB OCZ PC3500EB 2.5-2-2-5 (214mhz) @ 2.85v

The issues I had were anything above 220 fsb 1:1 had artifacting in 3d apps and also I could not run 267 fsb in 5:4 mode. This is no longer the case. I can now run 1:1 mode with no artifacts and 5:4 mode is no longer an issue.

So this ram has been a perfect all around solutuion for me. It will run at 2.5-2-2-5 @ 2.8v at ddr428 in 5:4 allowing me to get to 3.2 or it runs fine with slightly looser timings at ddr500 in 1:1 allowing me to run at 3.0ghz, my choice. Also, the 3500EB works great with Athlon64 chipsets allowing me to change up without the need to purchase again just to change CPU brands. All my benchmarks scores are up and gaming is silky smooth.

I can't say enough good things about how satisfied I am with this EB memory. This is my first time using OCZ but I'm a real fan now. You guys did a great job with this product. Thanks alot for saving me money, because I was about to spend way too much money for some Mushkin Black level II BH5 off ebay when this stuff came along. I was also about to pull my mainboard because I thought it was fubar, but alas, that was not the case. The Corsair goes back, and OCZ has a new customer. The quality of your product far exceeds the rated specs and exceeds my expectations as well.

Perfect timing, perfect product!

How high can you get it 1:1?

Thanks! Having a blast yes! Nice forum you have here BTW.

I have had it to ddr500 (I didn't try going higher yet), this was at loose timings @ 2.75v. Since I'm at 3.3Ghz now (275fsb), I really won't use 1:1 until I get a 3.0c or higher CPU. But I did run at 3.0ghz (250fsb 1:1) just to see if it would do it, and it did, no problem in memtest86+. :D

I didn't tighten timings at that setting however as I was just mainly testing for the infamous p4p800 1:1 artifacting issue. Once I found that issue was resloved with this new ram, I proceeded to over clock my 2.4c to 3.3 and set it up tight at 5:4.

I'll do some 1:1 this week and post back and let you know where the wall is, I'm curious myself. But I'm really 110% satisfied at this point. Anything beyond what I already have will be gravy. It's nice to know that I can grab a new CPU with a higher multiplier and get into some 1:1 action if I choose.

I just love the options this Ram gives me.

Popcorn

try 3-2-2 and 3-3-2 timings

My best overclock was at 3-3-3-8 but I can run 3-2-2 and 3-3-2 @ 500

Also I had great luck with extra voltage
