Often the cause of such problem is related to the Electrical System of the house. And more then likely a poor Grounding of the entire installation. Some actions can resolve such problem but will require an electrician to test and modify the main ground setup.
I have expereince such condition in countries were main ground was hard to do or get - Example : Desert type of area ( Think Las Vegas or Arizona) dry - sandy soil , poor soil to get a good ground ( every once in a while I used to go pee :wpleased: on the grounding rod outside when it was terrible and affected results of some testing equipment ( Satellite Transmission Sites ) - actually pour water on it when water was available. :hide:
But obviously stop gap solution and not very practical.
Other alternative you might want to try is to build ( if you are a handy man with electronics ) or buy an AC Isolation Transformer with a Faraday Shield, some small ones are available for residential use. If you cannot find one for a reasonable price - buy an ONLINE UPS for your setup and put the Z-5500 on it with the computer.
Might solve the problem.....
PS: Some might suggest a top of the line Surge Protector which has a filter - I have yet to see one that truly does power isolation, but who knows maybe there is one out there now . I am not aware of one.

Also.....If practical, try and hook the power for the speakers on a different circuit in the house. Sometimes this works.
