Sata Drive me friend - Sata and for that matter PCI-E products are in theory plug and play devices allowing for HOT SWAP/Plug ( removing and inserting ) when the power is on.
Sadly not all manufacturers have implemented/installed the required components in order to do the hot swap/plug with hard drives or gfx cards. Some did some did not - as such check carefully with Hard drive spec to see if it supports hot swap. But showing up as a hot swap removable drive normal....

Check the Sata column !!!
KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS
• Native Command Queuing for higher performance in transactional workloads
and hyper-threaded environments
• New latching cables and connectors for ease of integration
• Hot plug for quick maintenance and improved system availability

Indeed only excellent comments I hear about those 7200.10 ( in Raid they apparently beat the raptors !!)
For sure on my list of things to buy down the road and darn cheap up here $120.00 for 320 ...how the heck can one complain.

All my Raid0 arrays on the NF4 boards show as removable as well....not that the array is removable...each drive is listed separately under the remove icon....so yes....very normal :)
EDIT: Whoops...where did those 3 posts come from?? When I clicked the thread...I only saw the OP and BB's 1st reply....looks like I am late to the ball game :o
