Hello,
I recently upgraded my old computer with a new CPU (Athlon 64 3200) and a new motherboard (K8NGM2-L). Everything works great except my old HP printer will not print anything. The computer 'sees' the printer, knows it is connected, will send me a 'printer ready' message, and the printer even clicks and boops and whirs when I hit the 'print' button. But I immediately get an error window with the message, 'cannot print due to a system error'. My old printer still works fine on my laptop, I have re-loaded the printer driver a couple of times. I have never seen this before. Does any one have a suggestion?
Thank you,
CJ
