Although I had said earlier that I couldn't change any voltage. I remend that statement. I can change the voltage, but its via DIP switches on the motherboard.

Hmmmmm, I did change the vcore to 1.7 and tried setting the multiplier tp 11.5, but no go. My bios didn't see or make the change, nor did cpu-z see any change in the multiplier. Any ideas?

Another question: Any one remember the batch # on the XP chips that were so OC able? I remembering reading threads on anandtech about it, but I just can't remember the Batch.

Lots of Bartons are multi locked now..so you may have one that is stuck with only fsb clocking available.

The CPU's that everyone is using at the moment are mobile bartons..these are fully unlocked ;)

Hmmmmm, I had a momentary lapse of reasoning. I had forgotten in order to change the multiplier you had to unlock the processor first. :o
