Hi,
Understandably there are a lot of fans here of Asus, Gigabyte and Abit motherboards, but as far as I can see not much is being said about the Intel D875PBZ mobo.
For anyone who just wants a solid, reliable board, and who is not really into serious overclocking, this looks to me like a prety safe buy... if you can actually get hold of one, that is!
Is anyone here actually using one, and if so, what do they think of it?
Thanks,
-David-

You might want to check out this site: ABXZone. I know of at least one person that is using the board with a 3.0C - realdieu and there are a few others. Here's a link with a search done for ya: :)

Hi pointreyes,
Thanks for the info and the link!
However I am actually a member and fairly regular contributor to the ABXZone Forums, where I know you are also a moderator!
Thought I would drop a post on here though, just in case there were any different or new views or opinions of this particular board.
I know it has its critics, as do they all, but as I am not really into overclocking... cant really see the need with a 3 GHz CPU and a Radeon Pro 9800... it seems like a good solid board.
Mind you, having said that I am not really into overclocking, perhaps I am on the wrong forum here after all... although my hardware is still fairly 'BleedinEdge' I suppose! :)
Cheers,

Hehe...yeah, you're probably not going to get much of a response since this whole board is about overclocking....;):)
To answer you question tho, Intel boards have an excellent reputation, even among overclockers, for being good performing and very stable motherboards....:)
If your not going to overclock, there probably isn't a better board than the Intel:wave:
